This stand is something that my friend Mike has been working on and I have been helping him test and tweak the design.  Along the way others have expressed interest in the stand so we have put together this page for more information about the stand and to offer it up for sale.  We cut these in our workshops on CNC routers out of Birch Plywood.  All you have to do is follow the easy instructions with some glue and screws and you’ll have this handy stand as well.

The assembled stand is about 20″ wide and 11″ deep.  It articulates and adjusts to hold a variety of air frames from parkflyers up to .60 sized aircraft.  Yet it folds down to a nice compact size when not in use.  You can even set it up to balance your airplanes by folding one of the arms down on each side.

Click the link below to read through the build manual.  The build takes less then an hour to assemble the stand.  All the parts and hardware are included.  You just need a few common tools and some wood glue for the assembly.
